Maintaining a high level of hygiene is essential when you have a high volume of people coming into contact with the boditrax monitor. This is why we have laid out some basic instructions on how to ensure you are keeping your monitor as clean and hygienic as possible. These instructions are broken down in to a Daily Cleaning Procedure and a Weekly Cleaning Procedure. However, we would also advise that you encourage users to wipe down and clean the monitors screen, handles and scales before and after each use.
Daily Cleaning Procedure
- Clean all of the most frequently touched areas of the boditrax monitor.
- This includes the buttons on the top, the screen and area around the screen, the handles/hand grips and the scales.
- Ensure you are wearing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), i.e. latex gloves and glasses if required.
- Use antibacterial wipes or antibacterial spray, clean the areas thoroughly.
- Remember to use a fresh wipe/another spray on each new section of the monitor.
- Encourage cleaning before and after each use.
